Zapier lets you connect ChatBot with plenty of apps and 3rd party services, including Gmail, which lets you use the bot’s full potential.
By integrating ChatBot and Gmail, you can email any address whenever the bot collects the user’s information while chatting.
You must collect the user’s queries as attributes for the integration to work. In this article, you can see how to prepare your bot.
ChatBot app configuration
The first part of the integration enables you to prepare the bot for the integration.
Gmail app configuration
This integration sends an email when the Zapier block is triggered in the bot. All the collected information will be sent to your chosen email address.

Click the Close button.

Choose an app. Click the Change button.

Choose the Gmail app from the list or use the search tool.

Choose an event (what should happen once the integration is triggered) from the list. Continue.

Choose an email account and proceed.

Set up your action. You can insert your email address or choose an attribute from the list if you want to send the email to your customer.

Fill in the rest of the details.

Configure the Body of your email. You can use your custom text alongside the attributes. You can also use just the attributes.

Test and continue. See all of the provided information.

The test was a success. Check the status of the message.

Check the inbox. See the Subject, Name, and details from the Body field in the test message.

Turn the Zap on.

Your active Zap will appear as an orange Zapier block in the bot. Remember to publish the bot.
Editing the Zap
If you want to change the Zap, click on the Zapier block in the bot.
You will be redirected to the Zapier site to edit previously created Zaps.
